iSUSI is specialized in providing
expertise in the fields of sustainable solutions, innovations and
technologies.
The spectrum of activities ranges from
research for
possible solutions for specific problems to eco-evaluation of new
technologies and the project management of the research and development
of sustainable innovations. Furthermore research regarding social,
political and economic scenarios and conditions are integrated into the
proposed solution.
Our work focuses on renewable energy
technologies, energy scenarios, solar buildings and ecologically
sustainable energy
systems.
Working together with other institutes,
external consultants and companies we offer a flexible operating
structure.
Our projects and activities include:
- Formulating energy scenarios
for the realization of a sustainable energy system.
- Identifying
hindrances and the necessary conditions in order to
implement a efficient and 100% renewable energy-based energy system
- The further development of a programme for the simulation of
electrical supply systems with a high percentage of renewable energy
technologies using SimREN (Simulation of Renewable Energy supplied
electrical Networks)
- Solar appliances like a)
desalination and b) refrigeration - the
development and testing of solutions with various technologies
including market analysis for such technologies and the drafting of a
marketable concept.
- Analysis, modelling and
calculation of anthropospheric material
flows. The main emphasis of the work is in the area of energy
technologies and buildings
- Consultants to
international NGOs e.g.: Greenpeace International, World Renewable
Energy Council
- Advise to government commission (EU, Germany and
Bavaria).
